Shahid Kapoor's dedication towards his role in Padmavati is applaud-worthy. Over a year, the actor sported long hair and a deadly mustache and beard, staying true to his Rajputana role in the film. With the movie's release just a month away, Sasha shocked his fans today when he today stepped out at the airport.

Hiding his face with a scarf, Sasha did his best to duck the flashbulbs. But one couldn't help but make out that the actor has shaved his head, and in all probability his high-maintenance beard too!

Reports have it, Shahid went under the razor (and scissors) for his next project - Batti Gul Meter Chalu. The said project will see him in the role of a suave lawyer and this might be his next new look.

Though we wonder, did taskmaster Sanjay Leela Bhansali granted permission to his actor just ahead of the promotions of Padmavati? Or SLB is unaware about this one!?
