Ranbir Kapoor has been in New York for last two weeks where he has been taking DJ lessons at New York’s The Foxgrove for his upcoming superhero flick Brahmastra. He returned back to Mumbai this afternoon where he was papped at the airport. But what raised our eyebrows was, the actor was seen escorting two ladies to their car. An elderly lady accompanied with a young brunette, who was hiding her face and did everything possible to duck the flashlights! Rumour has it, the elderly woman in the car is Pakistani actress Mahira Khan’s mother Kaukab, and the second woman is Mahira herself!

Ranbir-Mahira being an item is gossip galleria’s favourite topic of the season. The duo had been papped smoking outside a hotel in New York, and their viral pictures created havoc everywhere. The possibility of their love affair was discussed, but both the actors vehemently denied their link-up rumours. But then there is no smoke without fire and smoking is injurious to health (pun intended), it seems the couple is finding difficult to stay away from each other!

Mahira these days is globetrotting to promote her upcoming film, Verna. The last update on her social media account reflects her location to Punjab in Lahore. That was a day back. Enough time to reroute the travel plans.
