The news of Sridevi's was a major bolt to the country and especially, to the industry. The veteran actress whose career spanned for almost 5 decades and has worked in about 300 films in 5 different languages was mourned by every person in the entertainment industry.
And to offer condolence was South Superstar Rajinikanth who flew to Mumbai at Anil Kapoor's residence to pay his condolences to the grieving family.

He and Sridevi have worked in numerous hit films such as Chaalbaaz, Dharma Yuddham and Johnny.
Rajinikanth had earlier mourned Sridevi’s death on Twitter by saying, “I’m shocked and very disturbed. I’ve lost a dear friend and the industry has lost a true legend. My heart goes out to her family and friends. I feel the pain with them #RIPSridev ... you will be missed.”
Sridevi passed away at 54 on Saturday night in Dubai. The cause of her death was initially reported to be a sudden cardiac arrest; however, recent forensic reports have suggested that Sridevi died of ‘accidental drowning’.
