'Thackeray' Biopic: Nawazuddin meets Bal Thackeray's son Uddhav

Actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui is on cloud nine these days. He will be soon seen in the role of Shiv Sena founder Balasaheb Thackeray in a biopic, titled Thackeray, starring in the titular role. The biopic is penned by Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut and will be directed by Abhijit Panse.

Today, Nawaz met Bala sahab's son Uddhav Thackeray, the chief of Hindu nationalist Shiv Sena party. The duo spoke about the late Bal Thackeray at length, helping the actor to add more dimension to his role.

Earlier Nawaz had expressed his gratitude for being part of the project. "Everyone would be thinking, how can I speak Marathi, let me tell you, Bal Thackeray sahab would be giving me inspiration and would be showering his blessings (on me) to play the part."
