Among one of the most awaited Media & Entertainment conferences of the year, FICCI (Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry) Frames, has finally kicked off in Mumbai. And present at the event were eminent personalities from the industry such as Smriti Irani, Karan Johar, Siddharth Roy Kapur, Huma Qureshi, Prasoon Joshi, and many others.

After the inauguration, Smriti Irani and filmmaker Karan Johar got into an enriching conversation where the two discussed about regional cinema and Bollywood industry.

"We don’t really talk about the capacity of our regional language films. How many countries can say that I have a Marathi box office hit like Sairat or Prosenjit doing films that cut across India or we have had a legend like Sridevi who we have paid tribute who did films in 5 languages and was a superstar not only in Delhi, Mumbai but the entire is that we are everywhere," she said.

The 4-day event that will commence from the 4th and conclude on the 7th will see the who’s who from the media and entertainment industry attend, including the likes of Karan Johar, Shabana Azmi, Divya Khosla Kumar, Siddharth Roy Kapur, Nandita Das among many others.
