Ranveer has been flying high after the success of his badass portrayal of Alauddin Khilji in the Sanjay Leela Bhansali movie Padmaavat. The movie also featured Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor. However, Singh walked away with most of the praise and rightfully so.

Currently, the talented actor is busy with his Zoya Akhtar movie Gully Boy. The movie stars Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt in lead roles. It is based on the lives of Shankar Nag GM and Naezy known for their song "Mere Gully Mein" in Mumbai.
