The Ambani family recently paid a visit to the holy Siddhivinayak temple in Mumbai. Mukesh Ambani, his wife Nita and their sons Akash and Anant were joined by Shloka Mehta and her family. Akash who has been in a relationship with Shloka for several years now finally proposed to her on Saturday evening. He shared the pictures on his Instagram profile and that was enough to get the buzz going.

The duo exchanged the rings in Goa. Reportedly, Akash and Shloka, who is the daughter of Russel Mehta – a famous diamantaire, will be tying the knot in December. A leading channel reported that Nita Ambani has confirmed that the wedding is on cards in December.

The two families have known each other for a long period and the Ambani’s seem to extremely happy to be welcoming Shloka into the family. The couple is a power couple handling extreme responsibilities in their family-run businesses. While Akash is one of the Board of directors of Reliance Jio and Reliance Retail, Shloka is a director in the family business and a co-founder for ConnectFor.
