In true Bollywood style, Ambani scion Akash, proposed to his long term girlfriend Shloka Mehta in Goa this weekend. The happy parents threw a grand bash in the city today, to celebrate this grand re-union. The who's who of Bollywood made it to this celebratory dinner.
Recently, the Ambanis and the Mehtas were seen offering prayers at the Siddhivinayak temple in Mumbai. Buzz is that it is a winter wedding for the young couple. However, official confirmations on this are yet awaited.
Shloka is the youngest daughter of billionaire diamond trader Russell Mehta, the owner of Rosy Blue Diamonds. Like Akash, she pursued her studies at Dhirubhai Ambani International School.
Shloka went on to study anthropology at Princeton University and masters in Law at the London School of Economics. She is now the director of Rosy Blue Foundation and also runs ConnectFor, an NGO organization. Akash on the other hand, is on the board of Reliance Jio.
