Gauri Khan attended the post engagement dinner bash of Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta at the Ambani residence in Mumbai today.

Akash proposed to his long term girlfriend Shloka in Goa over the weekend. The youngsters are said to have a winter wedding amidst much grandeur and fanfare. The parents thus hosted a grand dinner for the who's who of Bollywood. Among the guest list were Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Zaheer Khan, Harbhajan Singh, Kiran Rao, Karan Johar and John Abraham among others.

On the work front, the lovely wife of Shah Rukh Khan is busy with her interior decoration business. Her store Gauri Khan Designs is the frequent haunt of Bollywood's stars.

Nita Ambani spoke to a daily about this saying, "Mukesh and I have given very strong foundation to our kids and even larger wings to fly - they have the freedom to take decisions for themselves and of course, choose whom they would want to spend the rest of their lives with. Marrying the one you love is gratifying and heart-warming. I have known Shloka since she was four and we are all delighted to welcome her to our home and our hearts."
