Our mothers have a special place in all our lives. For our B-town A-listers too, this relationship is the same. On this special day, our shutterbugs caught Ranbir Kapoor around town with mum Neetu Kapoor for a celebratory lunch.

Known to be a Mumma's boy, Ranbir evidently left no stone unturned to make his Mommy dearest feel special today. The duo were seen at an eatery catching a quick lunch this afternoon.

Ranbir donned a black polo with a pair of washed denim, Nike kick and a snapback while Neetu looked comfortable in a hot pink top and denim with she paired with a sling bag.

Known to be protective about each other, this mother-son jodi has always been the one to admit how close they are. In an interview, Neetu said, "As a mother, yes. He is too soft. He can't hurt anybody and can get hurt very fast. I can see it happening but can do nothing about it."

Ranbir also is no less. The actor once stated, "A mother is always our first love, and our last love, and there’s no greater relationship than a child and mother.We are what we are because of our mother. And I hope I can keep my mother happy, smiling and positive always, and that she enjoys all her life. That’s my top priority."
