Fresh marriage rumours have started to do the rounds again for Deepika and Ranveer. A source who claims to be in the know, reveals that the two are expected to tie the knot by the middle of this year, at a secret destination that could well be a beach location as both the lovebirds simply love the sand and surf. We predict it could be Maldives, where they brought in Deepika’s birthday last month!

Who said PDA is only for the dating? Newly marrieds Anushka and Virat are indulging in their fair share of it. The released of yet another teaser for Anushka’s film Pari, brought forth this comment from Virat: “Here’s a REMINDER. This is not a fairytale. #PariTeaser. @AnushkaSharma @OfficialCSFilms. Love it ♥” When Virat had scored his 34th ODI century Anushka was quick to show her love on Instagram, gushing, “Uff, what a guy!” We likes, for sure!

Speaking out on the emotions that the nose-cutting and death threats that Deepika received, beau Ranveer declared, “I was enraged, absolutely enraged. But what could I do? I could choose to act out destructively, but I chose not to. I channelled it and I put all of it into my performance.” He reveals that he had been given strict instructions to stay silent and not complicate things further, but now he is letting his feelings show.

PadMan’s clean sweep
PadMan left us with a lump in our throat at the end. Meanwhile in the run-up to the release, the PadMan Challenge initiated by the original ‘PadMan’, Muruganantham went viral. The new trailer of Anushka Sharma’s Pari is perhaps the scariest so far. It shows the actress trapped in a house and Parambrata asking her to leave the house. She not only refuses, but also chokes him as she lifts him into the air single-handedly! The trailer also shows Anushka’s feet tied to a chain which she follows – to find a woman with a child at the other end, who also happens to be her with a bloody and a scarred face!

Leaks we Loved!

The leaks are in full flow from the sets of Thugs of Hindostan. The pics of Katrina in her skimpy gold outfit, paired with gold head ornaments and thick anklets, were a pure visual treat. This was followed by images of Aamir Khan along with Fatima dancing in colour coordinated maroon costumes with gold embellishments.

Oh no, not again!

Amidst reports of a Brahmin group from Rajasthan claiming that Kangana-starrer Manikarnika misrepresents facts, the film’s writer came out to try and clear the misconceptions. The writer of famous films like Baahubali, Magadheera and Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Vijayendra Prasad maintained, “No need to worry about it as I have portrayed her in the most respectable way. She is a warrior who fought against the British. She is my favourite woman leader. I have grown up reading about her. So, I will always portray her in an inspirational way.” The film was hit by rumours that it is based on a foreigner’s book and tries to dampen the queen’s reputation.

Shocking reveal…
Shock waves went through B-town when a female cousin filed a case of sexual assault against Bollywood actor-producer Jeetendra, originally known as Ravi Kapoor. The incident allegedly occurred in 1971. An FIR was lodged in Shimla which said that the complainant was 18 at the time of the assault, while Jeetendra was 28. For those wondering why the complainant waited 47 years to come out with her accusation, she reveals that she decided to file a police complaint after the demise of her parents (Jeetendra’s uncle and aunt) as the news of her alleged abuse would have left them “heartbroken”.

Announcements
The makers of Aiyaary received a green signal for release from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). It will now hit the screens on February 16. After the CBFC reviewed the film, a screening of Aiyaary was held for the Ministry of Defence on the Censor Board’s instruction. The screening resulted in prescribed modifications to the film.

The much-kept secret of Kylie Jenner was finally broken. She announced the birth of her baby girl and even published a video on YouTube titled, ‘To Our Daughter’.

Lucky Tiger Shroff will have two outrageously gorgeous women vying for his attention in Student of the Year 2. Karan Johar’s two new finds are Ananya and Tara. Ananya is Chunky Pandey’s lovely daughter, while Tara Sutaria is a trained singer and dancer and a VJ for Disney Channel.

Abhishek Bachchan’s account was also hacked – surprising, given his lack of political leanings.
