Now the thrilled producer will be throwing a well-deserved success bash for the cast, crew, and friends.

Kangana at it again…!

Kangana Ranaut hit the headlines when it was revealed that the release date of her period film, Manikarnika: Queen of Jhansi was being postponed and that it could clash with Akshay Kumar’s Gold on August 15. She was in the news again for apparently hiring her alleged ex, Hrithik Roshan’s manager, Anjali Atha. Never too long out of the spotlight, is she!

These first glimpses have got our attention…

The first look of Salman Khan Films’ LoveRatri flaunted Aayush Sharma and Warina Hussain in a clinch, holding up their dandiyas. The film is a romantic drama set against the backdrop of Gujarat’s famous festival, Navratri.

Also grabbing eyeballs was the announcement of producer Ekta Kapoor’s recreation of the epic love story Laila Majnu presented by Imtiaz Ali. The film is helmed by the director’s younger brother Sajid Ali and will release on May 4.

The release date of the third installment of the Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster franchise was also announced. The film, which sees Sanjay Dutt essay a negative role, has been locked for release on July 27. We can’t wait to see what “naughty, crispy and twisty” treat director Tigmanshu Dhulia has in store.

The first look of Sui Dhaaga shows Varun Dhawan and Anushka Sharma in their avatars as Mauji and Mamta. He plays a tailor and she, an embroiderer, in this film which celebrates the spirit of self-reliance whilst talking about finding love and respect.

Split wide open!

The claws are out… The spat between Kedarnath producers KriArj Entertainment and T-Series on one side, and director Abhishek Kapoor’s Guy in The Sky Pictures on the other has gotten worse. Both parties have called off their association, with Abhishek citing lack of transparency and faulty payments. KriArj has responded with allegations of their own, stating ‘the court proceedings will put all speculation to rest’.

Some hope for Sara…

With her debut film Kedarnath, starring Sushant Singh Rajput, in jeopardy, there was a ray of light for Sara Ali Khan. The yet to debut actress is rumored to be on board for the Hindi Medium sequel, playing daughter to Irrfan Khan.

Daddy Randhir aka Dabboo Kapoor’s birthday brought together the Kapoor clan to celebrate at Devnar House, Chembur. Amidst the family members, including wife Babita, Rishi and Neetu Kapoor, Rajiv Kapoor, Aadar and Armaan Jain with mommy Rima Jain, it was naturally the hottie sisters Kareena and Karisma who stunned in their chic and classy ensembles.

Much more than a cap…

Amitabh Bachchan experienced a health scare and had to be admitted to Lilavati Hospital, Bandra due to severe abdomen pain. The actor underwent an endoscopy and was soon discharged. He was spotted with his beanie pulled right down till his nose, which he later explained in his blog as, “This knitted shield, only, that protects my cerebrum. (the cover over my eyes is my knitted cap .. I have slid it over my eyes to protect the ‘flash’ of the camera ‘weaponed’ paparazzi).”
