Their upcoming release Jug Jugg Jeeyo will take the bar a notch further. Starring Neetu Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Kiara Advani, Varun Dhawan, Maniesh Paul and Prajakta Koli, the Punjabi family drama is directed by Raj A Mehta.

Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham

A hardcore Punjabi family drama, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham stands tall in every aspect. Who can forget Poo and Anjali and all their drama? The film showed the journey of a Chandni Chowk based girl to settle down with her family in the US.

Raj Mehta's directorial debut Good Newwz showed two Punjabi couples who welcome their babies via surrogacy. Though they are Punjabi, the couples were poles apart. One was a modern couple whereas the other was a loud, enthusiastic traditional couple.

Captain Vikram Batra's love story with Dimple Cheema blossomed in the heart of Punjab. Amid war sequences, Punjab and Punjabis were shown beautifully. 

Jug Jugg Jeeyo
