The highly-awaited trailer of Akshay Kumar and Emraan Hashmi starrer Selfiee was released yesterday and the makers did not disappoint one bit with it. The film also stars Diana Penty and Nushrratt Bharuccha. Selfiee brings the winning combination of producer Karan Johar, director Raj Mehta and Akshay once again. KJo has produced the film under his production banner Dharma Productions.
The trailer was full of comedy, action, drama and ace acting chops, not to mention the recreated version of Akshay’s song Main Khiladi Tu Anari from his film of the same name. The film brings the winning combo of Akshay and Dharma together once again fueling much excitement among fans. The association that started with Brothers (2015), Kesari (2018), Good Newwz (2019), Sooryavanshi (2021) will now bring Selfiee to the audiences, ensuring another blockbuster.

Director Raj Mehta who made his successful directorial debut with Good Newwz after working as an assistant director for nearly a decade in numerous films has once again teamed up with Akshay and KJo. The actor worked with Mehta in his directorial debut and delivered a hit with the spunky and sensitive story. Mehta also had a winner on his hands last year with Dharma’s Jugjugg Jeeyo which brought much cheer to Bollywood when it got the cash registers ringing at the box office.
Since this triumvirate has renewed their winning collaboration with Selfiee, we’re sure that it’s going to be another winner at the box office if the dhamakedar trailer is anything to go by! The film releases in theatres on February 24, 2023.
