Diljit, Shankar and Monali launch Rising Star Season 2

The Judges - Shankar Mahadevan, Monali Thakur, Diljit Dosanjh and the host Ravi Dubey of season 2 of Rising Star announced to go on air soon at its launch event recently. This show will be replacing Bigg Boss season 11 after its finale on television. Rising Star boasts to be the only show to have a live voting format. Here, along with the judges, the audience also decides the fate of the constant at the same time. In its first season, the show grabbed the attention of people and chartered TRP that wasn't expected from this how.

While the show is yet to start, Diljit Dosanjh is wrapping up his shoot with Tapasee Pannu and Angad Bedi for Sandeep Singh’s biopic. Ravi Dubey, the host will also have a companion this time. We will see him entertaining us along with child artist Parth Dhamija. While Diljit shone in his Black & White suit, Monali kept it classy with her floral pantsuit and Shankar rocked it in simple Purple kurta and blue denim.

The winner of season 1, Bennet Dosanjh won a whopping 20 Lakhs and also bagged an opportunity to sing for Films. The show is likely to air on Colors TV on weekends at 9.00pm starting 20th January 2018.
