It's raining weddings in Telly world these days. Known for his role as Omkara in Ishqbaaaz, actor Kunal Jaisingh got engaged on Sunday to his longtime girlfriend Bharati Kumar in a hush-hush ceremony. The couple exchanged rings amidst close family and friends at the ISKON temple in Juhu, Mumbai.

Taking to Instagram, the actor shared a photo from the ceremony and captioned it: “Hello fiancee! #newbeginnings.” Bharati chose a yellow ensemble for the occasion and accessorized it with stunning jhumkas and a loose bun. To-be-groom Kunal chose light blue bandhgala for the ceremony.

For the uninitiated, Kunal and Bharati met on the sets of The Buddy Project. Though they were not paired opposite each other, the two developed a friendship which later blossomed into love. For fans, this news came as a surprise but close friends in the industry knew that the couple had been dating for about five years. After the families recently met, it was suggested that Kunal and Bharati should take the plunge.

Bharati has acted in TV shows such as Yam Hain Hum, Humse Hai Liife and Ishaa, while Kunal is famous for his shows Dil Boley Oberoi, Yeh Hai Aashiqui, Doli Armaano Ki and Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya. 

It is said that they will get married by the year-end.
