An emotional Divyanka Tripathi says breakup with Ssharad Malhotra took 8 years of her life

Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya is a frequent visitor of headlines, from the television circuit. The actress, who is one of the popular and most sought-after names in the small screen industry, recently appeared on a talk show with husband Vivek Dahiya. Divyanka, who tied the know with her co-star Vivek in a much-talked-about ceremony in 2016, was in a steady relationship with TV star Ssharad Malhotra. Divyanka and Ssharad met on the sets of their show Banoo Main Teri Dulhan and fell in love. However, after a courtship of eight years, the couple called it quits in 2015.

In a promo of the show shared by Divyanka herself, she is seen having a heart-to-heart, candid conversation with host Rajeev. At one point, Rajeev quizzes Divyanka about her past affair with Ssharad. Rajeev quizzed them about this to which Divyanka replied saying, “Vivek and I aren’t ready for parenting yet as it’s a big responsibility.”
