Bollywood megastar and veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan will once again grace the small screen as the host of the new season of the popular game show Kaun Banega Crorepati, season 10. The promo of the eagerly awaited show was launched a while back much to the delight of the numerous fans who wait for the registration lines of the show to open and vie to meet the cinema legend face-to-face in their lifetime.

The video was shared with the caption, “'Har jawaab poora karega ek adhoora khwaab. #KBC ke registrations shuru honge 6 June raat 8:30 baje..” Amitabh can be seen singing a song and telling his fans about the show. Amitabh who is an avid social media user had shared a few pictures of the promo shoot a few days back, showing him dubbing for the video. Kaun Banega Crorepati is a popular game show which was brought to India by Siddharth Basu from the original series Who Wants to be a Millionaire.

The show follows a question-answer round, where the contestants are seated on a hot seat and given questions with multiple choice answers. Every right answer wins them some amount of money and the eventual prize money was Rs 7 crores in the last season. For the uninitiated, the legendary actor made his small screen debut with the show in 2000 which went on to break all TRPs. The show was an unprecedented hit and catapulted the actor back into the big league. He went on to host 8 seasons of the show so far. One season was hosted by Shah Rukh Khan.

The registrations for the show will start from June 6, 2018, and this season 10 will comprise of only 30 episodes and will air on Sony TV from mid-August. Watch this space for more details about the show.
