While we were excitedly waiting for our favorite star and global fashion icon Priyanka Chopra to show up at this year's Oscars, the actress, on the other hand, decided to give this grande event a miss.

The last two Oscars saw our desi girl make India and her fans back in the country proud in her jaw-dropping Ralph & Russo and Zuhair Murad gowns. While we were busy rooting for our glamazon to steal the spotlight and take the internet by storm, once again, Piggy Chops, much to our disappointment, skipped the event owing to be under the weather.

Considering this diva was nowhere in sight on this red carpet, we still have our hopes high to spot Miss Chopra at the after party, along with another B-town beauty Deepika Padukone, hopefully! *fingers crossed*
