Beyonce sure knows how to make a statement. The singer was dazzling in a custom-made Falguni-Shane Peacock dress for the WACO Theater Center's Wearable Art Gala.
Beyonce wanted a custom-made gown that could speak volumes on it's own. Her stylist decided that Falguni-Shane Peacock were the ones that could make this happen.
The designers behind the gown told a foreign publication in an interview that the intricate outfit took 10 days to make and had 35 people working on its construction. They also revealed that the 3-D gold luminescent train that appeared on the back of the dress was 11-feet long.“The metallic cutouts are placed strategically to mimic the shape of armor, as worn by the Nubian armies,” said Falguni Peacock. The designers worked closely with Beyoncé’s personal stylist Marni Senafonte to create the gilded look.
