Opening the floodgates of fashion, the 75th edition of Festival De Cannes served us glamour on the red carpet right from Day 1. With India announced as the ‘Country of Honour’ at the 2022 Marche du Film (Cannes Film Market) for the first time, we witnessed best of the Indian representation with the Bollywood brigade making a stellar appearance at the gala.
From R Madhvan’s classic tuxedo to Tamannah Bhatia’s monochrome glamour, here are some noteworthy looks straight from the soiree:
TAMANNAAH BHATIA
Tamannaah oozed feminine and flirty vibes with her monochromatic Gauri & Nainika gown that featured a cinched corset detailing with a mermaid skirt and a stunning contrast train. Details like the plunging sweetheart neckline and peplum waistline added to the drama of her look. Adding a dash of dazzle to her black-and-white look were those pair of stunning diamond danglers from Jaipur Gems. The diva kept her glow radiant and opted for nude lips, winged eyes and soft, romantic curls to finish her look.
RAHI CHADHA
Fashion influencer Rahi opted for a head-to-toe Valentino look from its latest Pink PP collection and it was all things love. The mesh shirt teamed with oversized blazer and pants delicately detailed with 3 D florals…do we need to spell out drama any further? Representing Dior beauty at the gala, the style maven opted for a well-defined contoured look with fuller eyebrows and a sleek pompadour.
URVASHI RAUTELA
Urvashi channeled her inner swan on the red carpet dressed in a voluminous tulle gown from Tony Ward. Her one-shouldered tiered attired featured grape vine detailing on its statement sleeve as well as the waist. Her look was put together with a pair of diamond earrings. In the makeup department, the actress opted for a radiant glam with a striking red pout and styled her locks in a chic bun.
R MADHVAN
Madhvan kept it classic in a black Manish Malhotra tux that bore sequin details on its collar and the fancy bow tie. A pair of studded shiny shoes completed his look.
NAWAZUDDIN SIDDIQUI
Nawaz looked dapper in a classy black tux for the do.
