Aparshakti Khurana in lead role portrays a government officer deeply entrenched in the murky world of espionage. His performance is restrained yet impactful, embodying the quiet tension of a man trying to navigate a world of deceit and secrecy. Khurana’s ability to convey emotion through subtle expressions adds depth to his character, making him relatable even in the midst of the film’s intense plot. Ishwak Singh on the other end plays the role of a deaf and mute and is charged with espionage, Ishwak's natural acting and interrogation led by Aparshakti is what leads the majority of the movie which slowly unfolds.

Rahul Bose, another important character in the film, is a high-ranking government official. It is a rather delicate portrayal of the character that he manages to sustain, combining in him elements of power and moral disorientation. Their interactions are what fuels a large portion of the film with him handling the outside matters whereas Aparshakti handling the interrogation

The supporting cast is equally strong, with fine performances that enrich the film's complex narrative. The screenplay is tight, with well-crafted dialogues and moments of silent tension that keep viewers on edge, enhanced by the atmosphere of the film throughout.

Still, the film’s speed may be somewhat disdained by the audience who wish for non-stop brain-racking action. And that is quite different, “Berlin” is a slow unwrapping of a psychodrama, which takes its time to reveal the action filled climax.

Overall Berlin is an intelligent thriller that merges historical drama and spy elements in one frame with attractive acting talents which keeps viewers interested.
