Last night's episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai begins with Suhana running away. Swarna finds Aryan while he is under stress. Kartik and Naira hear a baby crying and they rush to see what it is happening. Suhana wonders what the man was doing in Udaipur with her picture. She starts getting worked out as she hears someone coming. Kartik and Naira are shocked seeing the baby.

They look around for someone who could have been the baby possibly. Kartik takes the baby and searches for the baby's parents. They try to calm the baby down. A fig falls down from the tree. And they keep their hands over the baby’s face in a protective manner. Suhana sees her boyfriend and says that he reached there too.

Manish asks Kartik and Naira about the baby. They say that probably the parents must be searching for the baby. Kartik says that they have told the security about the baby. Akhilesh asks why did they get her in. Kartik asks how would they leave her alone while she was crying and had no one to look after her. Manish says he will call the police so that they can come and take her. Kartik asks them to find her parents. Bhabhi maa says it's not easy to manage someone’s child. Kartik says that she is a happy baby. Dadi recalls Kartik’s words. She thinks Kartik may change his decision of not being a father. Manish and Akhilesh say people may think wrong and that they should call the police.

Bhabhi maa says that even they brought home a child long ago and Akshara took care of it. Devyaani says this could be the goddess who has come to bless. Dadi says that they shall start Holika-Dahan. Kartik and Naira cover the baby's eyes as the fire is bright. Bhabhi maa asks them to give the offering to the Holika fire. Rajshri asks them to give the baby to her. Baby hugs Kartik and doesn’t let go of him. Dadi smiles. Baisa says Naira should bear a child soon. Swarna sees Aryan leaving. Kartik says that they should leave now. Priyanka asks Naitik to take care. Naira asks Naksh to take care of Naitik.

At home, Naitik coughs. Naksh asks what happened. Naitik says he is fine. Kirti feels something unusual about Naksh and that probably he was going to say something to her. The baby starts crying in the car and Kartik and Naira try to calm her. Manish says no one could handle the baby as they have no relation with her to bond and asks to call any caretaker. Swarna says that the caretaker won’t be from the baby's family and questions their warmth. Dadi says that they will look after and serve the baby until they get to know about the parents.

Naira sings a song for the baby. Kartik sings and the baby starts crying. They ask Luv and Kush to sing a song. The baby calms down and enjoys. Kartik and Naira clap. Naksh asks Naitik if he is fine. Naitik says yes and that he is going to sleep now. Priyanka calls Naitik. Naksh sees Kirti’s note. Kirti comes there and sees Naksh and she goes. Aryan gets Suhana’s voicemail. She says that her brother fixed her marriage and that she wants to meet Shubham the next day. He thinks of her and cries.

Later,  he gets angry and hits a ball. Swarna comes and asks what happened. He throws the bat. Kartik says that he doesn't have any problem in keeping the baby but asks the inspector to find her parents. He sees Luv and Kush jumping and shouts at them. Luv and Kush cry and say sorry. Kartik and Naira say that they know the two didn’t do it intentionally and ask if they are fine and the baby as well. Dadi looks up and thanks god.
