Yesterday’s episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai begins with Naira and Kartik playing with the baby, having an amazing time with the little girl. The two talk to each other of how babies add more love and lessen the stress in lives.

Naira and Kartik sing songs for the baby. Kartik remembers how he is in denial of conceiving a child after his fight with Suhasini. He thinks it was a wrong decision. Naira says that she had always imagined her own babies but never got the guts to tell Kartik fearing what he would feel. Kartik says she should have shared her feelings.

Meanwhile, Swarna asks Shubham what the problem was. She says that she is his mother and understands that he is undergoing some stress but is unable to understand the exact position. He asks her to promise him that she will get him whatever he asks for. She promises him. He confesses to loving Suhana and says that if Swarna gets him married to her, he shall forgive Swarna and accept her as his mother. Swarna wonders what to do.

Next, Naira and Kartik try to go to sleep and meanwhile Swarna comes informing them about the child's parents. She says that the police has found the parents.

The parents tell Goenkas that the child had been stolen from a train. Naira and Kartik get the baby down and are extremely sad to say goodbye to the baby. Suhasini feels good to see Kartik being attached to the baby.

The parents leave with their baby. They thank Goenkas. Naira and Kartik kiss the baby. Further, Swarna decides to help Shubham in uniting with his love so that he can accept her as his mother.

Next day, Kartik wakes up and decides to apply colour on Naira for Holi. Naira and Kartik apply colours on each other. In Singhania's house, Kirti wishes everyone on Holi and somehow the delicacies made by her fall down. She is disappointed. Naksh asks everyone to relax and asks Kirti to cheer up as he will order the delicacies from their restaurant, Krishna.

At Goenka's house, everybody wishes each other on Holi. Suhasini applies colour on Naira and Kartik but refuses to herself be splashed with colours. Naira and Kartik decide to play Holi with everyone.
