The second episode of Bepannah begins with Zoya trying to recover from the shock and she had lost the ring that Yash gifted her. In spite of trying her luck, she is unable to find it. Aditya finds the ring in a puddle and returns it to her. There is complete silence between the two of them. Police ask them to sit in the ambulance and takes them to the hospital along with the other bodies.

The police discuss that it may not be a simple case for them to solve because it could be a case of infidelity. Aditya decides to step out of the ambulance as he is furious over the assumption that his wife has been cheating on him. Zoya is shocked to find out that Yash and Zoya's hands couldn't be separated easily because they died that way. Yash’s family is shocked to hear the news of the accident. Aditya and Zoya reach to the morgue together. The doctor gives them a few personal belongings of their respective partners.

Aditya’s parents come to the hospital and he vents out his frustration at them, even speaks about his wife’s affair. Aditya’s father warns his wife that no one in the city should know about the affair. They have to hide it. Pooja’s mother is also distraught with what has happened on realizing that her daughter was cheating on her husband with someone else. Zoya’s world had been crushed. She tries to justify her husband’s deed by blaming it in on an abusive husband. Aditya overhears this and angrily tells her that his wife was his childhood best friend.

Aditya tells Zoya that Pooja lied to him and said that she was going to an exhibition in Chennai. But in reality, she was cheating on him. He tells her to face the reality and accept the fact that her husband was a cheater. Zoya slaps him.
