The last episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai begins with Naira collapsing to the ground. Naksh goes and asks Rajshri to come out of the car, they see Kirti has fallen down. Kartik and Naksh are worried.

Suhana and Rahul worry about their plan not working out. They say that they need to be more careful. They discuss how the plan is succeeding as Shubham is head over heels in love with Suhana.

The doctor checks Naira's blood pressure and tells her that she is pregnant. Naira is happy on hearing this. The doctor tells her about Kirti's condition and says that her chances of conceiving are low. Naira gets sad.

Naira thinks of talking to Kartik and telling him about Kirti but the doctor comes and tells her that she informed her wrongly and the reports had been exchanged.  She says that it's Kirti who was pregnant while Naira's chances of conceiving are less. She is shocked.

Dadi prays for Naira and Kirti when they hear the sound of Kartik playing the dhol. Naira is dancing downstairs. Kartik and Naira inform them about the good news of Kirti's pregnancy and everybody celebrates.

Kartik and Naira get romantic at night. The next morning, Naira thinks about going to the doctor. Naira cries in hopes of becoming a mother. Aryan comes and sees everybody having their meals happily. He yells and goes away.

Dadi goes and talks to him. Aryan tells her everything about Suhana. Dadi says that she spoke to her Guruji and even he disapproved of the relationship. She tells him to not get so angry and behave nicely. He throws his plate in anger. Manish is annoyed while Naira feels that nothing is going on the right track.
