The episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai begins with Naira and Kartik running downstairs to save the statue of the Lord made by them. They rush downstairs and see that the gardener has shifted the mowing machine away from the statue. They are relieved.

The family gets ready for the festival of Gangaur. Naira and Kartik spend some good moments together. Further everybody goes to the ghat to celebrate the festival. Naira and the ladies end up dancing. Suhasini calls the doctor who informs that she is going to London for a few months. Suhasini panics and worries for Kirti as she has wanted the doctor to treat Kirti during pregnancy. The doctor suggests of meeting at the ghat only.

Suhasini forces Kirti to message Devyani and inform them about her normal diet and that she is not fasting. Naksh comes there and informs them that the family does not want Kirti to fast and have sent sweet delicacies for her to eat.

Suhana calls Swarna and asks if she could come to the ghat to break her fast observed for Shubham.  Later, Suhana comes with the statue in hand and everybody is shocked. The doctor comes there to meet Naira and Kartik. She tells Kartik that she is proud of him and that Naira is lucky to have a husband like him. Further, she asks if they have informed the family of Naira's pregnancy issues. Naira says no. Unfortunately, Suhasini overhears the conversation and is shocked. She is unable to digest the fact.
