The episode of Bepannah begins with Yash’s mother shouting at Zoya for staying at their place post her son Yash's death. Mahi asks Zoya to cook something for Yash's mother. She rushes to the market to buy things for her mother-in-law so that she can impress her. Mahi thinks that Zoya is naive and decides to use her the way she wants for her own motives. Aditya is also seen at the supermarket and bumps into Zoya.

Aditya insults Zoya and taunts her for not knowing her husband's reality. Just then Yash and Pooja’s picture is seen at the supermarket. Zoya is shattered. She is surprised on seeing the picture and leaves crying. Aditya comes to know from a sales boy who tells him how the couple, Yash and Pooja used to come together. Aditya gets upset and breaks the showcase out of anger. Zoya remembers her happy moments with Yash and cries unable to fathom that he cheated upon her.
Yash’s mother says that she does not like Zoya and will not pretend to like her. Mahi shouts at her mother and asks her to pretend for some time. The doorbell rings and Mahi is shocked to see Aditya at their house.
