The episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai begins with Rajshri praising Suhana for participating in the Gangaur festival. The women of the family place the idols as per the rituals. Suhasini recalls the doctor’s words about Naira's pregnancy issues and walks into the water. Kartik and Naira rescue her out. Rajshri and Baisa wonder what's wrong with Suhasini. Later she goes straight to her room as she is angry. She asks everyone to leave her alone and cries. Manish feels Aryan and Suhana are responsible for all of it. Naira also worries.

Suhasini dreams of a little Kartik and says she wants a grandchild. She prays to God and asks for help. Naira knocks at the door and tells her that Kirti is worried. Kartik also tries to talk to her but it goes in vain. Suhasini finally comes out and goes to the hall. Naksh prepares to leave saying he has work at home and his restaurant. She asks Naksh to take Kirti home. Kirti and others get surprised. After they go, Akhilesh and Manish ask Suhasini the reason for her bad mood but she refuses to say anything.

Kartik asks Naira to calm down and gives her something to eat. Next morning, Naira goes to the park for a morning walk with Naitik as Kartik is unable to come along. Naira and Naitik discuss Suhasini and wonder why she was still upset. Naitik asks her not to worry and Naira gets emotional. Suddenly, she sees Suhasini coming out of the hospital and wonders what she was doing there.
