The episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai begins with Kartik and Naira worrying about the test results. Naira asks Kartik to be positive. As they are about to go to the clinic, Singhania’s come playing dhol and dancing. Seeing the celebrations, Kartik and Naira ask them what was happening. Naksh says that he had gone to the clinic and got to know that Naira's test results were positive which meant that Kartik and Naira could have children. Everybody beams with joy.

Suhasini thanks God and expresses her desire of wanting to go to the temple. Rahul and Suhana pass by the Goenka house and see the celebrations. Rahul and Suhana are searching for their partner in crime, Savita. They see her stealing slippers from the temple and scold her. Rahul tells her about Suhasini. Savita sees Suhasini carrying the gold idol and wants to steal it. Savita stands next to Suhasini unaware of her being Shubham's grandmother.

Kirti and Naksh celebrate double joy. Swarna says that they should meet up Suhana's family. Manish gets annoyed but Suhasini backs Swarna. Suhasini gets a call from the priest who informs them about their Krishna idol being stolen. Suhana scolds Savita for getting involved in petty crimes. Savita suggests Suhana gift the idol of Krishna to Singhania’s and impresses them.

The family is very upset about the stolen idol. Naira asks them to not worry. At the Singhania house, bhabhi maa and bua dadi wonders about the healthy drink which they give to Kirti. Devyani tells them the entire truth. Bhabi maa says that she will talk to Kirti. Kartik and Naira say that they will get the idol of Krishna back.
