The episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai begins with Naira calling Kartik and informing him about the tyre puncture. She also informs that Kabir had helped her. Kirti craves for a pudding. Naitik decides to make it for her. Kabir and Naira are in the car and the mask with Naira's face and a bouquet is kept in the backseat. Kabir sees rocks in the middle of the road and stops the car intentionally, thinking that he will get to spend some alone time with Naira.

Naira's bag falls and as she picks it up, she sees the mask in the back. She remembers how her wellwisher had informed her about it. Kabir tries getting closer to Naira when he sees Kartik calling her. They hear a car horn and Kartik comes there. Kabir gets furious. Kirti orders clothes for her baby online and Bua Dadi gets angry and says it is inauspicious. Naitik asks her to stop believing in such things.

Bhabhimaa and Devyaani give Kirti, Naksh and Naira's old baby clothes. They find insects in the trunk and get worried. Kartik and Naira reach home and tell them that they did not find any evidence against Naira's stalker. Akhilesh, Swarna, and Surekha get tensed. Dadi asks Naira not to go out alone and be careful.

Naira senses that everybody is worried about her but doesn't know what to do. Kartik tells her that he will always protect her. Naira gets a message from her stalker asking her why did she go to the police station and says that she did not do the right thing. He further states that Kartik will have to pay for the action.
