The episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai begins with Kartik and Naira standing in front of each other. Little Kittu comes there and tells Naira about Kartik and introduces them to each other. Kartik gets angry at her and bangs the door on her face after Kittu leaves.

Naksh sees Kirti looking at the baby pictures and asks her about the same. Kirti says that she was focusing on her work. Naksh decides to takes her out.

Swarna tells Surekha that Suhasini wanted to meet Luv and Kush. Surekha says she can’t come as she had plans but Akhilesh asks her to not fight and apologise to Swarna.  The children see them fight and ask Manish to bring Naira back home.

Manish sees Swarna checking the letters and sending a bouquet to Kirti. He hides the letter sent by Imperial College.

Naira makes some snacks thinking about Kartik and unintentionally prepares Kartik's favourite Kachori. He too thinks of Naira and gets angry.

The neighbours request Naitik to come with them to welcome their new tenant Kartik. Naira somehow manages to stop Naitik from going. Kartik feels that Naira purposely sent the neighbours so that he would get late for college. They get into a fight over a cab. Naitik rushes to give Naira her ID card.
