The latest episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai begins with Naira not wanting Suhasini to worry seeing Kartik drunk. Kartik confronts Naira about her relationship with Kunal. Naira hugs Kartik and gives him some water.

Meanwhile, Naitik is worried about leaving Naira alone. Devyaani feels that Suhasini would ruin everything and never let Kartik and Naira reunite. She worries about the differences between Singhania and Goenka families. Bhabhimaa tells Naitik that she heard of the possibility of Kartik's second marriage.

Naira and Kartik enter the building complex. Kartik ego is drunk pulls her cheeks and misbehaves with her but Naira doesn't say anything. Kartik asks Naira to hold his hand. Swarna shouts at the house helps and Manish calms her down. Swarna tells him that she wants Kartik to remarry.

Manish refuses to listen and says that Kartik and Naira love each other. Swarna gets angry listening to it. Naira takes Kartik home and takes care of him. Seeing Naitik worried, Naksh talks to him. The next morning, Kartik wakes up and is shocked seeing Naira and asks her about the previous night. Naira confronts him about his drinking problems.
