The episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai begins with Naira and Kartik talking to each other after their fight with goons. Kartik and Naira look at each other and think about their past. Swarna talks of breaking the ties of Naira and Kartik while Suhasini assures to never let it happen. They challenge each other.
Everybody comes home and is shocked to see the goons. Naira and Kartik tell them of all that had happened. Everybody gets shocked. Naira decides to make sure that Mansi and Anmol's Sangeet is memorable. Kartik and Ashi practice dance. Naira looks at her leg at night and cries. She remembers how she loved to dance. Kirti consoles her.

The next day, everybody goes to the Singhania house for the Sangeet function. They see the house turn into a fairyland. Suhasini worries for Naira. Rukmini says that Naira had decorated the entire house. Naira comes down all decked up and Kartik gets mesmerized.
She gets jealous when Ashi hugs Kartik. Kirti teases Naira. Suhasini and tells Naira not to dance in a sensitive condition. Suhasini refers to Naira's pregnancy while Naira feels she is referring to her leg injury and wonders how Suhasini learned of it.
