The episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai begins with Kartik asking Naira to forgive him. Naitik and Manish search for both Naira and Kartik. The curtains in the room where Naira and Kartik are, catch fire by a nearby stove and it causes a major gas explosion.

Kartik and Naira get scared as the fire spreads in the room. Kartik searches for a way out to save himself and Naira. The families try searching for Kartik and Naira when Luv-Kush tell them that the two are locked in the room.

They all panic and try to get in the room but the security guys stop them from going in. Kartik and Naira notice a gas cylinder nearby which bursts and there is another explosion. Kartik searches for Naira and finds her unconscious. The families ask the cops to search for Kartik and Naira as soon as possible.

Kartik carries Naira to the ambulance. Swarna prays to God. Naira and Kartik gain consciousness and try to call each other.
