The episode of Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 begins with Mohini being unhappy with her husband, Moloy, as he favours Rajesh over her. Prerna's mother is not too pleased with Mohini's attitude.
Next day, Veena asks Prerna to give prasad to the Basus and Anurag especially as he saved Prerna's life. A reluctant Prerna goes to the house of Basus and meets Moloy and tells him that she has got prasad for all.
Moloy asks her to give it personally to Anurag in his room. Prerna, however, ends up going to the wrong room and enters Mohini's brother's room. She drops the prasad mistakenly and he helps her clean her face and flirts with her.
Prerna feels uncomfortable and Anurag enters and asks Prerna to come along in his room.
In Anurag's room, Prerna is amazed to see big books that he reads. They have a nice conversation.
Anurag also asks his mother to buy something from Prerna's mom's stall. Mohini goes there and buys seven items. She tells her friends she is doing it for Anurag and as she feels it is good to donate on the last day of the Pooja.
Both Anurag and Prerna meet in the parking area by chance, and the tent is about to fall off due to strong winds. The two of them together tied the rope tightly on the pillar. They head back to the pandal.
Mohini's brother gives Prerna a new dupatta as he had earlier torn it with his shoes by mistake when she had come to the Basu house. Later, they all dance. Anurag sees Mohini's brother flirting again with Prerna and gets annoyed.
