The episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai begins with Naira crying in
her room and telling Kartik that she can't live without his memories and forgetting him.
Kartik convinces her that everything will be fine and that he will make sure that she remembers everything once again if ever she forgets.
Kartik is in tears but tries to console and calm down an emotional Naira. At the Goenka house, Suhasini gives the holy Ganga Kal to everyone and asks them to pray for Naira's recovery. Then all of them pray for Naira’s speedy recovery.
At the hospital, Naira is not ready for the surgery but after Kartik’s insistence she agrees to it and Kartik calms her down. He makes her realize about the importance of her surgery and how the problem can increase of not treated at the right time. The doctor takes Naira for a medical check-up before the surgery. Naira panics while Kartik asks her to relax and he panics as well.
