The episode of Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 begins with Prerna crying in her room after telling her parents about her decision of marrying Navin. Her mother Veena goes to talk to Prerna but the latter tells her mother that she is marrying Navin only for money and that she does not want to struggle all her life. Navin thanks Mohini. Moloy calls Mohini and informs her that he will come after two days from Singapore. Mohini is relieved to know as Prerna and Navin would get married.
Moloy also asks Mohini to teach Nivedita how to talk to elders. Mohini sides Nivedita. Nivedita learns about Prerna and Navin's marriage and is happy as it would give her a chance to humiliate Rajesh. Anjali pays the librarian to lock her with Anurag inside the library asks him to switch off the electricity. Prerna is in the library when Anurag enters. The librarian locks them thinking it is Anjali with Anurag and goes for lunch.
Due to her teacher, Anjali is unable to reach the library. Prerna suddenly hears Anurag inside the library and thinks it is a ghost and yells. Anurag gets scared and the two get scared and run into each other. They end up spending time inside the library and get to know each other better. Anurag tells Prerna that he found a rose in her book and he really wishes she gets someone who loves her. The librarian returns and the two come out of the library.
