The episode of Kasauti Zindagii Kay 2  begins with Anurag complimenting Prerna. He later credits her mother for her features. He then leaves the box of jewellery that Mohini had sen and leaves the room. He is surprised to see Prerna hold his hand and stop him. Anurag promises to stay by her side.

Madhuri gives Romita a call and asks her to meet her and Pradeep. Romita waits at the bus stop but notices that Navin along with a driver trying to kill her. Navin takes the driver's seat and runs over her. She collapses and Anurag reaches the scene and takes Romita to the hospital. Shivani chases the driver who runs away from the car. Shivani writes down the car number. Naveen reaches home and is relieved that Anurag couldn't trace him. Anurag brings Romita to the Basu house.

Navin unaware of Romita being in the house, challenges Anurag and says that he won't be able to stop Prerna's wedding with him. Romita regains her consciousness, and Anurag inquires about the accident. She loses her conscious again. Mohini enters Anurag's room and is surprised to see Romita. Anurag then tells her about Romita's past. Mohini is proud of Anurag.
