The episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai begins with Kartik appreciating Naira for scolding the students who were making fun of her pregnancy because of her tummy. The other students apologise to Naira. Naira is sure that Kartik will be a wonderful father. Naira leaves for the examination hall. Suhasini calls Kartik and asks if they have reached the temple.
Kirti talks to her baby and tells about the baby shower function. Naira comes out of the examination hall to go to the washroom but later the invigilator refuses to let her to submit the exam paper. Naira is angry at the invigilator for not letting her complete the paper. Kartik pacifies her. A few girls recognise Kartik outside examination hall and talk about his online video lectures. He clicks a selfie with them and Naira gets jealous.
Kartik and Naira reach home for the baby shower. She goes to get ready for the function.
Kartik showers flowers on Kirti when she arrives for the baby shower ceremony. The Goenkas celebrate the baby shower ceremony. Suhasini asks men to leave so that the women can start with the function. Kartik tells Naira to ask Suhasini to let him stay back.
