South Indian film industry’s leading lady Trisha Krishnan has been making the headlines lately for a very happy reason. Apparently, according to media reports the actress is planning to tie the knot with Nayanthara’s ex-boyfriend and Tamil actor, director and singer, Simbu. While their on-screen pairing has been lauded by the masses their off-screen camaraderie has sparked off wedding rumours now.
Their stellar performance in Gautham Menon's Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa was not only well-loved by the audience but their friendship in real life has become fodder for marriage speculations. Although several online portals reported the news, the actors have been tight-lipped and no confirmations have come from their end.

The speculations about Trisha’s and Simbu’s wedding started making rounds after her ex-flame Rana Daggubati made his relationship with Miheeka Bajaj official. After their break-up Trisha got engaged to film producer Varun Manian in 2015 but they parted ways as the producer wanted her to give up her career post marriage.
On the other hand, Silambarasan aka Simbu's love life has always been in the limelight as he dated Hansika Motwani and Nayanthara. It was also rumoured that he was set to marry a UK-based girl post lockdown but his parents rubbished the rumours stating that they will announce the news once they find the right match for him and requested everyone to not believe fake news. Simbu’s and Trisha’s short film Karthik Dial Seytha Yenn that released on YouTube in May 2020 received a lot of love from fans and masses.
