Telugu actor Nithiin, on Sunday, got married to his longtime girlfriend Shalini Kandukuri at Taj Falaknuma Palace in Hyderabad. The wedding ceremony was to take place in Dubai on April 15 and a grand reception was planned on April 16. However, due to the Coronavirus pandemic, the schedule was revised and the festivities took place in Hyderabad. Reportedly, celebrities like Varun Tej, Sai Dharam Tej, Telangana Minister Srinivas Goud, producer Tagore Madhu, Venkat, Hari and Sudhakar Reddy attended the ceremony.
Pictures from Nithiin's and Shalini's grand wedding surfaced on social media. Dressed in red, the couple looked absolutely royal. Shalini, the bride, was glowing in a red and off-white saree with golden zari details. She completed her bridal look with necklaces, waist belt, an exquisite matha patti and bangles. Nithiin opted for a red sherwani and off-white dhoti. "Mothaniki oka INTIVAADINI ayyanuu.. need all ur blessings n love," wrote Nithiin while sharing pictures from his wedding ceremony.

Pictures of Nithiin's and Shalini's pre-wedding festivities circulated on social media and left fans in awe of them. Their mehendi ceremony was attended by Pawan Kalyan and Trivikram Srinivas.

Speaking of Shalini, she is an MBA graduate and has completed her education in the UK. Reportedly, Nithiin met her in 2012 through a mutual friend. The couple kept their relationship a secret for years before tying the knot.
