Prashanth Neel, with the magnanimous success of KGF, is undoubtedly one of the most sought after directors in South cinema. Now, as he gears up for KGF: Chapter 2 featuring Yash, Sanjay Dutt and Raveena Tandon in key roles, rumours that he is already working on his next is doing the round. According to a leading daily's report, Prashanth is reportedly in talks with none other than the Bahubali of Indian cinema-Prabhas for his next directorial. A source close to the development told the leading daily that Prabhas and Prashanth wanted to collaborate after the latter's debut film Ugramm in 2014 but things didn't materialise then.
However, the pan-India superstar has liked the idea presented by the director and wants to make the film his 22nd project. "Prabhas and Prashanth have wanted to collaborate since the latter’s debut film, Ugramm, and have discussed several ideas in the past. However, things did not materialise then. But now, Prabhas has liked an idea and wants it to be his 22nd film. It will take off only in 2022," the source told.

Speaking of the film, the source said it will be in the space of Prashanth's Urgramm but it is planned to be mounted on a lavish scale and the treatment will be more contemporary. Reportedly, the film will orbit around underworld mafia and Prabhas will play the quintessential hero. "He will take on a bunch of baddies. The basic plot is along the lines of Ugramm, but the treatment is more contemporary and it will be mounted on a more lavish scale," the source added.
Calling the film 'an unabashed celebration of heroism', the source said it will release in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and Kannada.
