Mahesh Babu to play double role in ‘Sarkaru Vaari Paata’
Mahesh Babu’s much-anticipated film, Sarkaru Vaari Paatu, directed by Parasuram will have the actor in dual roles. According to the media buzz, Mahesh will be seen essaying the roles of a pawn broker and a bank officer in the film. The film is touted to be an action thriller and its major portions will be shot in the US. The makers are contemplating of starting shoot with a minimal crew by the end of this year in the US.
Mohanlal attends producer Antony Perumbavoor's daughter Anisha's engagement
Malayalam superstar Mohanlal and his wife Suchitra attended film producer Antony Perumbavoor’s daughter Dr Anisha’s engagement ceremony on September 2. Anisha got engaged to Dr Emil Vincent in a private ceremony in Kochi. The engagement ceremony adhered to government guidelines and saw only 50 members in attendance. The engagement was theme based as the guests were instructed to wear white and beige ensembles whereas the Dr Anisha and Dr Emil looked great in black outfits. Photos from the engagement ceremony went viral on social media.
Sanjjanaa Galrani’s assistant held for supplying drugs in parties
Sanjjanaa Galrani’s assistant Rahul has reportedly been arrested for Central Crime Branch (CCB) in connection with the drug racket case in Bangalore. She also has come under the scanner of CCB after her assistant was arrested for his alleged role in supplying drugs at parties. She might be summoned by CCB in connection with the drug racket. Apart from Sanjjanaa’s assistant, CCB also summoned actress Ragini Dwivedi and her friend Ravi Shankar in connection with the drug racket. They will be interrogated today at the CCB headquarters. For the unversed, filmmaker Indrajit Lankesh has made startling revelations about Sandalwood celebs’ connection with drug peddlers and suppliers. CCB has also asked Lankesh to appear for questioning. Meanwhile, police have reportedly arrested 20 drug peddlers across Bangalore.
