SS Rajamouli turned 47 years old today and the RRR team took the opportunity to wish him in a funny way. Whiel wishing him on his birthday, they also made some strange yet hilarious complaints against him. The RRR team including Jr NTR, Ram Charan, MM Keeravani and art director Sabu Cyril came together for a video in which they complained about SS Rajamouli with some really hilarious incidents for a birthday gift.
Sharing the video, the official Twitter handle of RRR wrote, "A small gift from team #RRRMovie to the man who only loves to give us all cinematic thrills in the form of elevations and emotions, but is against anyone giving him birthday wishes! Happy Birthday, captain! (sic)."

In the video that the team shared, Jr NTR says that SS Rajamouli decides to do complicated scenes just when the actors are about to relax. He further said that the filmmaker will take the particular shot for almost three hours and will not compromise on it any cost. Ram Charan also had some grouse against the filmmaker and said that he expects him to do gravity-defying stunt sequences in the film, even if it means jumping from forty-five feet above. He also revealed that Rajamouli practices these sequences in the trial shoot. In the same refrain, his co-director, assistants, cameraman KK Senthil Kumar, art designer Sabu Cyril and music director MM Keeravani recalled their not-so-special moments with Rajamouli proving how meticulous a taskmaster he is.

The video, that has gone viral ended with the words, “We want to thank you for the same reasons. Pushing our limits every single day to bring out the best in us. We love you and wish you a very Happy Birthday Sir. - Team RRR (sic)."
On the other hand, Ajay Devgn also wished the director on his birthday. "Many happy returns of the day dear Rajamouli Garu. It's been an honour knowing you and working with you on RRR. Best wishes for always sir," Ajay posted on Twitter.

The shoot of RRR resumed on October 5 in Hyderabad adhering to strict COVID-19 guidelines. Produced by DVV Danayya, the film is all set to hit the theatres on January 9, 2021. The period drama stars Jr NTR, Ram Charan, Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn, Ray Stevenson, Olivia Morris and Allison Doody.
