Ex-Bigg Boss contestant and Kannada actress, Jayashree Ramaiah, was found dead today (January 25) morning in Bengaluru. According to reports, Jayashree was staying at an old age home named Sandhya Kirana, located in Janapriya Township. As per reports, it suspected to be a case of suicide. Multiple reports state that Jayashree was battling depression and had hinted at her desire to end her life previously on social media.
Jayashree shot to fame with her stint in Bigg Boss Kannada season 3. Even after becoming popular, Jayashree reportedly didn't get satisfactory work like the other contestants. Reportedly, she was unhappy with the way her career was shaping up and the lack of opportunities. According to a leading publication, Jayashree's friends and family got in touch with the Aashram when she didn't respond to messages and calls. The authorities at the Aashram reportedly found her hanging. A case has been registered with the Madanayakanahalli police station of Bengaluru.

Jayashree, in July 2020, shared a note on Facebook that read, "I quit. Goodbye to this f*****g world and depression." Soon, she deleted the post and wrote, "I'm alright and safe!! Love you all." According to reports, Kannada actor Sudeep reached out to her for help. In a Facebook live, Jayashree reportedly said, "I am not doing all of these things for publicity’s sake. I am not expecting financial help from Sudeep sir. I am only expecting my death as I am unable to battle depression. I am financially strong but I am depressed"
Deleting the video, Jayashree wrote, "Thanks a lot Sudeep sir for your care and you saved me along with your team members and my loving friends and fans. Love you all! Sorry for making you guys panic. I am back to form."
