Born as Joseph Vijay Chandrasekhar, Thalapathy Vijay's fandom knows no boundaries. Today, the Tamil superstar is celebrating his 47th birthday. Vijay has been receiving good wishes from different corners of the country since midnight. To make the occasion more special, he decided to unveil the title of his upcoming film. Along with it, he released two posters too. Titled Beast, the Nelson Dilipkumar directorial also stars Pooja Hegde in the lead.
In the first look poster, Vijay is seen wielding a gun. With smoke cans tossing in the air, the makers give a dramatic touch to the poster. In the second poster, Vijay can be seen holding a rifle bullet between his lips as explosions happen in the background. A fighter chopper also catching attention. Beast promises to be high on action, drama and larger-than-life moments.

According to reports, Vijay will be seen playing the role of a special agent in Beast. Sun Pictures are bankrolling the film. Anirudh Ravichander has been roped in to compose music. The first schedule of Beast was completed in Georgia this year before the lockdown. Reportedly, Beast will release in theatres on Pongal 2020.
Vijay was last seen in Lokesh Kanagaraj's Master co-starring Vijay Sethupathi and Malavika Mohanan.
