Prabhas and Pooja Hegde's period love story, Radhe Shyam, was to be released today. But theatres not being open as yet, the release was deferred. One of the most anticipated films, the multilingual epic love saga is directed by Radha Krishna Kumar and also stars Bhagyashree, Sachin Khedekar, Murli Sharma, Kunaal Roy Kapur and others.
Today, the makers of Radhe Shyam shared a new poster of Prabhas aka Vikramaditya and announced its new release date. The film will release on Sankranti next year that is January 14, 2022. Sharing the poster, Prabhas wrote, "Can't wait for you all to watch my romantic saga, #RadheShyam, which has a brand new release date - 14th January, 2022 worldwide!"

According to reports, Mahesh Babu and Keerthy Suresh's Sarkaru Vaari Paata is also scheduled to hit the theatres around Sankranti next year. Directed by Parasuram, the film is said to revolve around a bank scam and will be a family drama. It is jointly produced by Mythri Movie Makers and 14 Reels Entertainments in association with GMB Entertainments.
Radhe Shyam is produced by Bhushan's T-Series with Vamshi, Pramod and Praseedha Uppalapati under UV Creations. The film will release in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi and Malayalam.
