Their cryptic posts on Instagram gave fans a major hint that the couple is now planning to take their relationship to the next level. While Nayanthara and Vignesh maintained a dignified silence, the cat is now out of the bag. Nayanthara, known as 'Lady Superstar' down South, confirmed that she is engaged to Vignesh.
Nayanthara, in a clip from a television chat show on Star Vijay, confirmed her engagement. She made the revelation after the host asked her about the ring on her finger. Nayanthara said that it is her engagement ring. When the host asked what she likes in Vignesh, Nayanthara said everything. Nayanthara and Vignesh have been dating each other for quite some time.

Nayanthara met Vignesh on the sets of his directorial, Naanum Rowdydhaan (2015). The film featured Nayanthara in the lead. They fell in love soon after that. A few years later, Nayanthara called Vignesh her fiance at an event.
