Chiranjeevi has begun shooting for his next film, the Telugu remake of Malayalam action film Lucifer. The film is tentatively titled God Father and is supposed to be a pan-India film and for that they have roped in Salman Khan for a lengthy guest appearance.
The film’s official launch took place a couple of months ago, and is being directed by Mohan Raja and produced by NV Prasad and Ram Charan. As per reports, the character played by Salman in the film was played by Prithviraj Sukumaran in the original. Lucifer starrer Mohanlal and Prithviraj, with the latter helming the film as well. Reportedly, Chiranjeevi will be grandly announcing Salman’s collaboration in a grand way soon.

God Father will also star Satyadev and Nayanthar in an important role. The film is supposed to wrap shoot this year itself. Currently referred to as #Chiru153, the film is produced by Konidela Productions and Super Good Films.
For the unversed, Salman’s and Chiranjeevi’s family have been friends for a long time. When Ram Charan made his Bollywood debut with Zanjeer in 2013, Salman had lent full support to him and promoted the film.
